Overview of Belzona 4911
Belzona 4911 (Magma TX Conditioner) is a two-component, thixotropic resin system with excellent adhesion to masonry and metallic surfaces. The product is engineered as a substrate primer and conditioner used ahead of Belzona 4000 Series concrete repair compounds and chemical resistant coatings, especially in applications where the substrate is damp, porous, or subjected to severe loads.
The 2.2:1 by weight Base-to-Solidifier system delivers tensile shear adhesion of 2,960 psi (20.4 MPa) to grit-blasted steel and pull-off adhesion with cohesive failure within concrete (790 psi dry, 590 psi damp), brick (1,010–1,110 psi), and quarry tile (1,510–1,900 psi). Coverage of 79 sq.ft. (7.3 m²) per 3 kg unit at the recommended overcoating window of 6 hours. Recognized by U.S.D.A.
Key Benefits
Exceptional compressive strength for load-bearing applications and demanding mechanical environments
Bonds strongly to virtually any rigid surface
100% solids formulation reduces health and safety risks in confined spaces with no shrinkage on cure
No solvents, no shrinkage during cure

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Belzona 4911 (Magma TX Conditioner) used for?
Belzona 4911 (Magma TX Conditioner) is a 2-part epoxy conditioner designed to be applied to concrete, stone, and similar substrates prior to the application of Belzona 4000 Series repair materials and coatings. It penetrates the substrate, sealing porosity and improving adhesion of the subsequent Belzona system.
What is the mixing ratio of Belzona 4911 (Magma TX Conditioner)?
The mixing ratio of Belzona 4911 (Magma TX Conditioner) is 2.2 : 1 (Base : Solidifier) by weight and 2 : 1 (Base : Solidifier) by volume. Please see the Product Specification Sheet (PSS) for more information.
How do you apply Belzona 4911 (Magma TX Conditioner)?
To apply Belzona 4911 (Magma TX Conditioner), the substrate must be clean, firm, and dry, free of any paint, oils, or other contaminants. Empty the entire contents of the Solidifier into the Base unit and mix thoroughly until completely homogeneous. From the commencement of mixing, apply Belzona 4911 to the prepared surface within 30 minutes using a short-bristled brush or roller, ensuring full coverage and penetration. Apply the subsequent Belzona 4000 Series material wet-on-tacky as specified in the relevant Instructions for Use. Please see the Instructions for Use (IFU) for more information.
