Overview of Belzona 4331

Belzona 4331 (Magma CR2) is a high-performance, two-component barrier coating optimized for resistance to hot organic acids — such as acetic acid — with excellent resistance to a broad range of other chemicals. The system isolates concrete and metal substrates from deteriorating chemical environments at service temperatures up to 194°F (90°C), making it ideal for hot acidic process environments.

Brush- or spray-applied for use on acid retaining walls, chemical drains and channels, tanks, walkways with non-slip aggregate, pump bases and casings, and tank pads. The 1.5 kg unit covers 21.0 sq.ft. (1.95 m²) at the recommended 20 mil (500 micron) DFT per coat. Force-cured at 80°C (180°F) for 4 hours for optimum chemical resistance. Tg of 95°C (203°F) at 100°C post-cure.
