Overview of Belzona 4111
Belzona 4111 (Magma-Quartz) is a high-strength concrete and stonework repair system, comprising a two-component epoxy resin (Belzona 4151) combined with selected pre-wetted quartz particles. The resulting compound is engineered to withstand demanding industrial environments, with outstanding compressive strength, abrasion resistance, and chemical resistance once cured.
Suitable for repairing and rebuilding any structure where surfaces or substrates have been damaged by impact, vibration, chemicals, or environmental attack — including concrete, brick, marble, and stone. Also used for grouting, bonding, lining concrete surfaces subject to chemical attack, and resurfacing areas subject to extreme wear, impact, and abrasion.
Key Benefits
Exceptional compressive strength for load-bearing applications and demanding mechanical environments
Outstanding protection against wear, impact and abrasion
Outstanding resistance to a wide range of chemicals
No solvents, no shrinkage during cure
100% solids formulation reduces health and safety risks in confined spaces with no shrinkage on cure
Bonds strongly to virtually any rigid surface

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Belzona 4111 (Magma-Quartz) used for?
Belzona 4111 (Magma-Quartz) is a 3-part epoxy repair mortar that uses Belzona 4151 resin combined with selected quartz aggregate, designed for repairing and resurfacing concrete and stonework damaged by impact, vibration, chemicals and environmental attack. It is also used for grouting and structural bonding, with outstanding abrasion and chemical resistance.
What is the mixing ratio of Belzona 4111 (Magma-Quartz)?
Belzona 4111 (Magma-Quartz) is supplied as a 3-part system: Belzona 4151 Base and Solidifier are mixed at 2 : 1 by volume, then Belzona 4111 Aggregate is added to the desired consistency. Please see the Product Specification Sheet (PSS) for more information.
How do you apply Belzona 4111 (Magma-Quartz)?
To apply Belzona 4111 (Magma-Quartz), the surface must be clean, firm, and dry, free of paint, tar, and other coatings, and conditioned with Belzona 4911 (Magma TX Conditioner). Empty the contents of Belzona 4151 Base and Solidifier into the mixing bucket and mix to a homogeneous resin, then slowly add the Belzona 4111 Aggregate until the desired consistency. Within 30 minutes at 77°F (25°C), apply with a trowel or float onto the conditioned surface and tap down firmly to remove entrapped air. Please see the Instructions for Use (IFU) for more information.
