Overview
Power generation equipment, from turbine casings to generator end shields, takes a continuous corrosion load from coolant leaks, lubricant migration, and plant-air humidity that conventional plant paint cannot survive across the inspection interval. Belzona 1321 (Ceramic S-Metal) delivers ceramic-filled erosion-corrosion protection on hot-side surfaces with continuous-immersion rating to 140°F (60°C); Belzona 5831 (ST-Barrier) is the surface-tolerant epoxy for oil-contaminated and damp substrate where prep windows are tight. Both apply during the regular outage and recommission with the unit.
