Overview
Oil leaks on transformer tanks, gearbox cases, and hydraulic reservoirs migrate along weld seams and bolted flanges where the oil-side film keeps any conventional adhesive from setting, leading to indefinite drip and floor contamination. Belzona 1212 is the oil-tolerant cold-cure repair compound that sets directly onto oil-wet steel without solvent wiping; Belzona 1111 (Super Metal) handles the structural rebuild on cracked welds and damaged flange faces that need dimensional restoration. Both apply with the asset operating, eliminating the oil drain and recommissioning that conventional repair requires.
