Storage/chemical tanks

Common industries: Water and Wastewater Industry, Chemical Industry, Petrochemical Industry

Overview

Storage tank failure typically starts at the bottom course where stagnant water settles, at the floor-to-shell weld where stress concentrates, or wherever the existing lining has worn through to bare steel and let the cargo find substrate. Belzona 4341 (Magma CR4) is the inorganic-acid-resistant immersion lining for chemical tanks at moderate temperature; Belzona 1391T extends the working envelope to 248°F (120°C) for hot service such as process vessels and amine reboiler bottoms. Both are cold-applied as a seamless system, with no welded penetrations to recoat and no post-cure heat soak.

About Tanks & Chemical Containment Areas

Tank and containment work is governed by the chemistry inside the tank and the regulatory line in the spec sheet: WRAS for potable water, NSF for drinking-water contact, immersion-rated chemical compatibility for process fluids. Belzona offers a graded family of linings to meet each constraint without changing applicators or surface prep approach.
