Overview
Bulk-material silos lose the inside surface to a combination of abrasion from descending fines and corrosion at the moisture-condensation band just below the headspace, with the cement industry seeing the worst dual loading. Belzona 4341 (Magma CR4) addresses the acid-condensate corrosion zone where sulfate dust meets moisture; Belzona 1391T provides high-temperature immersion-grade coverage for silos handling hot clinker dust or other process intermediates. Both apply cold over the prepared steel substrate and avoid the rope-access welding that conventional patch-and-recoat approaches require.
