Overview
Hopper interiors, transition cones, and chute outlets concentrate abrasion at the steepest angle of repose, where fines accelerate against the wall and wear through plate steel ahead of any scheduled replacement cycle. Belzona 1812 (Ceramic Carbide FP) is the fine-particle erosion-resistant lining developed specifically for cement-manufacture-style fines on chutes and hoppers; Belzona 1811 (Ceramic Carbide) handles broader sliding-abrasion service where the particle size and bulk density justify the larger ceramic aggregate. Both apply cold over prepared steel and bond into multi-pass build-up where wear depth requires it.
