Overview
Wear plates and bars in chutes, crushers, and material-handling equipment have to sit flat against an irregular structural backing for load to transfer evenly, and conventional steel shims leave point contact that distorts the plate within a single shift of operation. Belzona 7111 is the pourable two-part chocking compound that fills the irregular gap between wear plate and structural backing, transferring load uniformly across the contact area without machining the host structure. The system cures cold and brings the wear plate into full bearing inside the regular maintenance shutdown.
