Overview
NSF/ANSI 61 certification is the gating spec for any coating that contacts municipal drinking water, and a tank or pump that needs internal recoat normally faces the choice between expensive replacement and an NSF-approved system. Belzona 5812DW is the two-part epoxy approved by NSF for direct contact with potable water in tanks, pipework, and submersible pump components, applied by brush or spray over prepared metallic and non-metallic substrate. The system cures cold inside the existing tank-out window and returns the asset to service inside the utility's planned outage.
