Overview of Belzona 4411
Belzona 4411 (Granogrip) is a three-component anti-slip surfacing system consisting of a colored thixotropic Base, liquid Solidifier, and aluminum oxide Aggregate. Available in two Base colors — Gray and Safety Yellow — with dark gray Belzona 9211 (Supergrip) or white Belzona 9221 (Surefoot White) aggregate at 95.2% Al₂O₃. The system delivers a durable non-slip surface with excellent adhesion (greater than 2,330 psi pull-off on grit-blasted quarry tile), wear resistance (124 mm³ Taber loss), and chemical resistance.
Suitable for application to steel, concrete, quarry tile, and wood substrates. Coverage rate of 13.7–25 sq.ft. (1.25–2.30 m²) per 800 g unit varies with aggregate selection and substrate. Industry-recognized approvals from U.S.D.A., General Motors, Ford, Florida DOT, and Paper Board Industries Corporation.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Belzona 4411 (Granogrip) used for?
Belzona 4411 (Granogrip) is an anti-slip surfacing system designed to improve safety on walkways, ramps, stair treads, and work platforms. The granular surface provides aggressive grip in wet, oily, or contaminated conditions and is widely used on offshore platforms, industrial flooring, and access routes.
What is the mixing ratio of Belzona 4411 (Granogrip)?
The mixing ratio of Belzona 4411 (Granogrip) is 2.5 : 1 (Base : Solidifier) by weight and 2.0 : 1 (Base : Solidifier) by volume. Please see the Product Specification Sheet (PSS) for more information.
How do you apply Belzona 4411 (Granogrip)?
To apply Belzona 4411 (Granogrip), the surface must be clean, firm, and dry, free of rust, paint, and other contaminants, and conditioned with Belzona 4911 (Magma TX Conditioner). Mix the Base and Solidifier until homogeneous, then apply to the prepared surface using a brush or roller. While the coating is still wet, broadcast the supplied aggregate evenly across the surface for the desired anti-slip profile. Once cured, sweep off the loose aggregate. Please see the Instructions for Use (IFU) for more information.
