Overview
Welding repair on pressure separators, code-stamped vessels, and other inspected equipment introduces re-stamping requirements, post-weld stress relief, and thermal distortion that often costs more than the original defect would justify. Belzona 1111 (Super Metal) cold-bonds the structural repair with a two-part metal-filled epoxy that machines back to OEM dimension; Belzona 1121 (Super XL-Metal) extends the working window for larger areas and longer cure schedules where multi-pass build-up is needed. Both qualify as non-welded repair under the relevant inspection codes and complete inside the existing turnaround.

About Separators
Separator vessels see a difficult combination at every internal surface: hydrocarbon, water, sand, and dissolved gas in continuous contact. Erosion-corrosion at the inlet, sand-scour on the bottom head, and chemical pitting in produced-water service are the dominant findings.
