Overview

Industrial concrete is the substrate everywhere a process plant pours product, drives forklift traffic, or contains a spill, and unprotected concrete takes acid, alkali, abrasion, and impact damage simultaneously across decades of service. Belzona 5811 (Immersion Grade) coats walls and containment surfaces with full immersion-rated chemical resistance; Belzona 4181 (AHR Magma-Quartz) handles horizontal floor and platform areas exposed to impact, abrasion, heat, and acid attack up to 1/4 inch (6 mm) thickness. Both extend the asset life without breaking out and replacing the slab itself.

About Floor Problem Areas

Industrial floor work is constrained by the binding spec on the drawing: a static coefficient of friction (SCOF) for slip resistance, a chemical-compatibility list for splash service, and a recoat window that fits inside a weekend or summer shutdown. Belzona's floor family is specified against those numbers, not against generic claims.
