Overview
Pump misalignment from a sagging or pitted bedplate transmits cyclic loads into the bearing housing, shortening service life on couplings and seals long before the rotor itself fails. Belzona 7111 is the pourable epoxy chocking compound that fills the irregular gap between baseplate and pump foot, transferring load uniformly across the contact area; Belzona 1311 (Ceramic R-Metal) addresses metal-loss areas on shaft sleeves and reseating surfaces where the rotor lands. The system cures cold, requires no machining of the bedplate, and aligns to laser-shim tolerance without taking the foundation out of service.
