Overview
Custom gasket fabrication for irregular flange faces, salvaged seals on legacy machinery, and field-formed shims that have to match an out-of-flat mating surface all run into the same problem: catalog parts cure at standard thickness, not at the dimension the existing equipment actually needs. Belzona 2131 (D&A Fluid Elastomer) is the fluid-applied two-part elastomer that forms gaskets and seals to the actual mating surface; Belzona 2211 (MP Hi-Build Elastomer) covers vertical-face and high-build elastomeric repair on rubber and metal components. Both cure at room temperature without molds or specialty tooling.

About Gaskets, Seals & Shims
Gasket, seal, and shim work is constrained by dimensional tolerance: the gasket has to seat in millimeters, the shim has to land at the correct thickness, and the seal has to hold the system pressure on a face that has not been milled in years. Belzona's form-in-place compounds are specified against those tolerances.
